Advanced job management features
Rush RIP
The Rush RIP feature on the imagePRESS Server B5000 allows the user to rush process a job immediately without
waiting for other jobs to finish processing, or interrupting the processing of other jobs.
To enable the Rush RIP feature, you must select the multiple jobs option in Configure > RIP > HyperRIP Mode >
Multiple jobs.
To use the feature, select a spooled job in the Command WorkStation Held list, and choose Rush Process and Hold.
You can also select Rush Print for a spooled job, and it will be rush processed and then printed.
Note: The Rush RIP feature is only available on the imagePRESS Server B5000.
Sequential Print
Sequential Print allows the imagePRESS Server to maintain the job order on certain jobs sent from the network.
The workflow will be First In, First Out (FIFO), respecting the order in which the jobs were received over the
network. While a Sequential Print run is taking place, all other jobs that are not part of the run will wait to be
processed.
Sequential Print must be activated in Configure. Once activated, the Sequential Print queue is available as a job
action in Command WorkStation, Virtual Printers, and Hot Folders.
For information, see Command WorkStation Help.
