Troubleshooting
WARNING: There are no user serviceable parts inside the heater any servicing other than cleaning of
the heater should be performed by an authorized service representative.
Problem
No heat
Heater does not get sufficiently hot
Discoloration of the heater housing

No power to the unit
Heater has not finished warming up
Insufficient power
Heater is overheating
Environmental factors
Normal wear and tear
Solution
Check that power is on at the switch
and at the breaker.
Inspect cable for damage.
Normal operation - wait 15 minutes
for the heater to reach its maximum
temperature.
Ensure the unit is wired with the
correct voltage.
If there are multiple heaters on one
circuit, ensure they are wired in
parallel, not in series.
Ensure the unit is wired with the
correct voltage.
Perform cleaning procedure more
frequently. See Maintenance section.
Paint the face of the unit using a
600° high temperature engine paint.
