The General Purpose Sling may be fitted in 3 different ways
Leg straps passing under each thigh and onto opposite
hooks. This is the SAFEST technique, the patient is well
supported and prevented from tipping forward. Suitable
for general lifting or transferring.
Leg straps passing under both thighs and on to opposite
hooks. The "seat" formed with this option provides a
comfortable, dignified posture suitable for general lifting
or transferring.
Leg straps passing under each thigh and back to the hook
on the same side. This provides a "legs apart" posture
which is suitable for toileting and washing.
