5.1

SAFETY SCREEN INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL

THE DOOR LATCHES ARE PART OF A SAFETY SYSTEM AND MUST BE PROPERLY ENGAGED. DO
BEFORE DOOR IS REMOVED TURN THE APPLIANCE OFF AND WAIT UNTIL APPLIANCE IS COOL TO
THE TOUCH. DOORS ARE HEAVY AND FRAGILE SO HANDLE WITH CARE.
A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot viewing glass is provided with the
appliance and must be installed.
Open the side panels and control door on the appliance. Place the safety screen onto the door frame.
Install the 4 screws on the top and bottom of the safety screen and secure it to the door frame. Ensure the
safety screen is installed correctly before closing the side panels and control door. Reverse these steps to
remove the safety screen.

NOT OPERATE THE APPLIANCE WITH LATCHES DISENGAGED.
