Required Action(s)
Operator Action
Press the C (clear/cancel) key to clear the error
message, verify the current Image Level and Image
Address. This error message is just a warning to the
operator; if the C (clear/cancel) key is pressed the
error message will be cleared and the present scanning
can be continued. If the error message persists, contact
the system administrator.
System Administrator Action
Verify correct operation. If the error message persists,
call service.
Operator Action
Wait for the error message to automatically clear and
the Feeder to automatically start or press the C (clear/
cancel) key to clear the error message (optional) and
wait for the Feeder to Automatically start. If the Feeder
does not automatically start, it is possible that the host
is not reading the images from the Image Buffer and
that the buffer will not gradually empty. If this is the
case or if the error message persists, contact the
system administrator.
System Administrator Action
If required, send the Read command from the host.
Verify correct operation. If the error message persists,
call service.
Operator Action
Adjust the Gap Adjustment Knob to widen the
document interval (refer to, "Adjusting The Feed Roller
And Separator Roller" section of the User's Manual),
press the C (clear/cancel) key to clear the error
message (optional). This error message is just a
warning to the operator; if the displayed error message
is ignored the present scanning can be continued and
the error message will be cleared at the completion of
scanning when the Stop or End key is pressed. If the
error message persists, contact the system
administrator.

call service.
