Water connections

I
The plumbingsystem (including connectors, gate valves, etc.,
2-2a) for connecting the Hot tub to the Spa-Pak and the balance
tank, must be set up by the installer.
I
The Customer must provide the ground drainage points (
2a, detail 27 and 28) of suitable dimensions, which can be
inspected for any cleaning, and to which the low-point drain ø 50
i
mm (
2-2a, detail 3), the loading/overflow of the balance tank
and the drain from the filter are to be connected.
Spa-pak "booster kit": in the instance where a spa-pak "boost-
er kit" is also installed, it must be connected to the drainage sys-
tem; refer to the relative documentation.
CAUTION! Before preparing the ground drainage
points, consult the local authority for the regulations
that control the drainage of chemically treated water.
I
In particularly cold areas, to avoid the risk of any remaining water
freezing (water that may remain in plumbingafter emptying the
system) it is advisable to install valves for the complete drainage of
i
plumbing(
2-2a, detail 31).
I
To fill the spa, you can use a garden hose, or provide connections
to the plumbing system of the home as shown in
IMPORTANT: the 3/4" solenoid valve on the balance
tank (for automatic filling of water level) must always
be connected to the water system that supplies the
system.
Any connections to the drinking water system (other
than the recommended ones) must be carried out
according to EN1717 regulations, using "AA", "AB" or
"AD" anti-pollution protection procedures. For fur-
ther information, we recommend you contact your
water supply company and/or your plumber.
I
Connection of the blower (

as possible to the spa itself. This will prevent situations where the
water might reach the blower and compromise its operation.

Electrical connections

I
For preparations/measuring the electric system that will supply the
spa, please note that powers in kW indicated in the "Maximum
Absorption of the System" table are to be considered as maximum
absorbed powers during operation.
Spa-pak "booster kit": in the instance where a spa-pak "boost-
i
er kit" is also installed, a separate supply line must be provided
and it must be connected to the main spa-pak; refer to the rela-
tive documentation.

SINGLE-PHASE TOP (
■ The electrical connection can be made as follows:
- single-phase line (220-240V 1~)
- three-phase line consisting of two phase conductors +
neutral conductor (380-415V 2N~)
- three-phase line consisting of three phase conductors +
neutral conductor (380-415V 3N~)
■ The rated power supply voltage of the equipment is
always 220-240V.
■ The equipment can also be installed in Countries
where the 220-240V voltage is supplied by a two-pha-
se system. For the connection please refer to the in-
struction manual.
I
The installer must in any case use properly protected cables with
a suitable cross-section (see the minimum cross-section tables),
with characteristics not inferior to type H 05 VV-F (multipolar).

THREE-PHASE (
I
The installer must use cables with a suitable cross-section (see
the minimum cross-section tables) protected with a sheath of Ø
32 mm at the terminal in question and/or tubes or pipes when car-
rying out connection to the main switch with characteristics not
inferior to type H05VV-F (multipolar) or H07 V-K (unipolar).

NOTE: The lead sections must take account not only the systems
absorption but also the cable path and the distances, the chosen
protection systems and the specific regulations for fixed electrical
systems in force in the country where the spa is installed.
