Adjusting the Rear Shield
No Parts Required
Procedure
Under most conditions, best dispersion is attained
when the rear shield is closed (front discharge). When
conditions are heavy or wet, the rear shield may be
opened.
To open the rear shield
screw securing the shield to the left side plate, rotate
the shield to the open position and tighten the cap
screw.

Procedure
The grease fitting must be installed on the reel-motor
side of the cutting unit. Refer to
the position of the reel motors.
