Tyres
Tyre Replacement
Refer to Safety Precautions on page 105.
The tyres that came on your Honda SXS were designed to match the
performance capabilities of the vehicle and provide the best
combination of handling, braking, and comfort.
It is best to replace all four tyres. However, if that is not possible, you
must replace the tyres in pairs (front or rear) with tyres of the same
size and type as the originals. Never replace just one tyre.
WARNING
Installing improper tyres on your Honda SXS
can affect handling and stability. This can
cause a crash in which you can be seriously
hurt or killed.
Always use the size and type of tyres
recommended in this owner's manual.
The recommended tyres for your Honda SXS are:
front 25X8.00-12 NHS BLACKSTONE OTR HP-007
rear 25X10.00-12 NHS BLACKSTONE OTR HP-007
When you replace a tyre, remember:
Have the tyre replaced by your Honda dealer, if possible.
If you have a tyre professionally replaced at a non-Honda facility, we
recommend that you have the work checked by your Honda dealer.
