For easy installation of child restraints,
your vehicle has three child restraint
anchor fittings on the back of the rear
seatback.
This symbol indicates the locations of
child restraint anchor fittings.
When installing a child restraint, follow
both the instructions here and those pro-
vided by the manufacturer of your child
restraint.
To use the child restraint anchor fittings,
remove the luggage cover (see "Luggage
cover" on page 142.) and remove the
head restraint.
WARNING: child restraint anchorages
are designed to withstand only those
loads imposed by correctly fitted
child restraints. Under no circum-
stances are they to be used for adult
seat belts, harnesses or for attaching
