WARNING! Before carrying the child car seat,
always place and lock the handle in the verti-
cal position "A".
HOW TO REMOVE THE FABRIC COVER
To clean the fabric cover of the child car seat,
unfasten the harness and remove the fabric
cover. During these operations, make sure that
you:
• Unfasten the two side elastics before re-
moving the fabric cover from the frame
(diag. 21).
• Remove the fabric cover from the adjust-
ment button of the safety harness, as
shown in diag. 22.
Please refer to the care label for instructions
on cleaning the fabric cover.
Clean the safety belts, buckle and plastic parts
with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
bleaching agents: they may damage the com-
ponents or make them unsafe.
To fi t / remove the sun canopy, press the two
locking / unlocking buttons, located on the
side, as shown in diag. 23.
HOW TO FIT THE CHILD CAR SEAT TO THE
STROLLER
The KeyFit child car seat can be fi tted to Chic-
co strollers equipped with the standard hooks
(diag. 24).
Always check the type of hooks the stroller is
equipped with in the instructions booklet, and
whether they fi t the child car seat.
14. Open the stroller following the instructions
provided in the stroller's booklet (diag. 25).
15. Raise the sun canopy of the stroller, if in
use (diag. 26).
16. Recline the backrest completely (diag. 27).
17. Unfasten the two side fabric protections,
as shown in diag. 28. WARNING! To use
the child car seat fi tted to the stroller, the
bumper bar of the stroller must not be re-
moved.
18. Place the handle of the child car seat in a
vertical position, and fi t the child car seat
onto the stroller, making sure that it is
locked on both sides (a click will be heard,
indicating that the child car seat is locked
correctly on both sides) (diag. 29).
19. To release the child care seat from the
stroller, it is suffi cient to press the rear
orange button, as shown in diag. 30, and
to lift the child car seat holding it by the
handle
WARNING! The child car seat can be fi tted to
the stroller also with the child sitting in the
seat, although the child's weight could make
the operations more diffi cult.
