Detaching the Computer

To detach the computer from the MCD, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer.
2. Turn off and disconnect all external devices connected to the
computer and MCD (such as the AC Adapter).
3. Close the computer display and ensure that the handle is in the up
position, unless it has been removed from the computer.
4. Turn the computer and MCD bottom side up.
5. Turn the two thumbscrews on the bottom of the MCD
counterclockwise to loosen the MCD from the computer.
6. Pull down the eject lever on the back of the MCD.

7. Remove the MCD from the computer.
