Charging a Battery Pack

Charging the modular battery pack in the MCD takes from two to
six hours. The battery light on the computer turns on when a battery
pack is charging or awaiting a charge. When a battery pack is fully
charged, the battery light turns off.
Charging of a battery pack in the computer handle or DualBay is
not interrupted if the modular battery pack is inserted in the Battery
Bay. Batteries installed in the computer and MCD are normally
charged in the following sequence:
1. Battery pack in the computer handle.
2. Battery pack in the computer DualBay.
3. Battery pack in the MCD Battery Bay.
Batteries installed in the computer and MCD are normally
discharged in the following sequence:
1. Battery pack in the MCD Battery Bay.
2. Battery pack in the computer DualBay.
3. Battery pack in the computer handle.
