The print driver allows you to monitor the level of ink in each ink tank, with a low
ink warning that notifies you when ink runs low during printing.
For this feature to accurately report ink levels, you must enable the low ink
warning and reset the ink counter when a new ink tank is installed.

1. With the printer on, click S S t t a a r r t t , then S S e e t t t t i i n n g g s s , then P P r r i i n n t t e e r r s s .
2. Right-click the C C a a n n o o n n S S 3 3 0 0 0 0 icon, then select P P r r o o p p e e r r t t i i e e s s .
3. Select the M M a a i i n n t t e e n n a a n n c c e e tab, then click the L L o o w w I I n n k k W W a a r r n n i i n n g g S S e e t t t t i i n n g g icon.
4. Click to check D D i i s s p p l l a a y y l l o o w w i i n n k k w w a a r r n n i i n n g g , and click S S e e n n d d .
5. If you have just installed one or both ink tanks, reset the ink counter for the
new tank(s). See "To reset the ink counter in Windows" on page 22.

1. With the printer on, click P P a a g g e e S S e e t t u u p p from the F F i i l l e e menu.
2. Click U U t t i i l l i i t t i i e e s s to open the P P r r i i n n t t e e r r U U t t i i l l i i t t y y dialog box.
Do not reset the ink tank counter for an ink tank that is already in
use. To do so will give an inaccurate report of ink levels. Turning on
the low ink warning feature automatically activates the ink
counters, so it is best to enable the low ink warning feature either
when you first set up your printer or when replacing one or both
ink tanks.
