Problems
The coffee is too weak (see note).
Coffee is brewed slowly (see note).
Coffee leaks out of the dispensing spout.
Frothed milk is too cold.
The milk is not frothed or will not
come out.
The descaling cycle cannot be
completed.
These problems can be considered normal if the coffee
blend has been changed or if the machine has just been
installed.
Please contact our consumer care help line for any
problems not covered in the table or when the suggested
solutions do not solve the problem.
Causes
This might occur when the machine is
automatically adjusting the dose.
The coffee grind is too fine.
The circuit is not primed.
The brew group is dirty.
The dispensing spout is clogged.
The cups are cold.
The Cappuccinatore is dirty.
The Cappuccinatore is not fully assembled.
The type of milk used is not suitable for frothing.
The water dispensed for the rinse
cycle is not enough.
Solutions
Brew some cups of coffee.
Change coffee blend or adjust the
grind as explained in the "Coffee
Grind Adjustment" chapter.
Prime the circuit (see the "First Use -
Use After a Long Period of Inactivity"
chapter).
Clean the brew group (see the "Brew Group
Cleaning" chapter).
Clean the dispensing spout and its holes.
Preheat the cups with hot water.
Clean the Cappuccinatore.
Make sure that all components have been
correctly assembled.
Use the recommended type of milk.
Press the ON/OFF button and follow
the instructions described in the
"Interruption of the Descaling Cycle"
section.
