Whenever entering or setting up a fax or phone number in the Desktop
Manager—when sending a PC fax, setting up an entry in the Address
Book, or making a phone call—you use only the following characters.

Dialling digits
Pause. Cannot be used at the beginning
or end of a number.
Last Pause. Can be used only at the end
of a number.
Tone switch over function
DT detection function
PSTN/PBX switchover function
Mercury function (U.K. only)
Econophone function (Spain only)
Display-only characters. Space cannot
be used at the beginning of a number.
