Editing the Alias of a Waypoint

Ensure your radio shows the current location on the
screen.
Procedure:
1. Press the Menu Select button directly below
Optn.
Scroll up or down to Waypoints.
2.
Press the Menu Select button directly below Sel.
3.
The display shows a list of waypoints.
4. Scroll up or down to the required saved
waypoint.
5. Press the Menu Select button directly below
Optn.
Scroll up or down to Edit name.
6.
Press the Menu Select button directly below Sel
7.
once you are done
A blinking cursor appears in the Edit Name
screen.
8. Use the keypad to edit the alias.
Press the Menu Select button directly below OK
9.
once you are done.
OR
Press the Menu Select button directly below Cncl
to return to the Waypoints main screen.
The display shows <Waypoint name>
Updated and the radio returns to the Waypoints
main screen.
10.Press the Menu Select button directly below
Back to return to the previous screen.
OR
Press the Home or PTT button to return to the
home screen.
