Clean the new glass plate
Obtain two fresh lint-free cloths.
•
Spray or apply a mild, streak-free glass cleaner on a lint-free cloth
•
Gently wipe the glass clean leaving no fingerprints
•
Dry the glass completely using the other clean, dry lint-free cloth
•
Make sure no fluid gets under the glass. Leave the area dry
CAUTION: Do not spray/apply cleaner fluids directly on the glass plate or
anywhere else in the scan area.

Close the scanner
•
From the nearest edge lift the scanner lid and rotate it backwards and
down you hear the lid latches "click". Gently pull the lid to confirm it is
locked
•
Plug in the scanner and turn it ON
NOTE: If images are not improved after changing the glass plate
calibrate the scanner to adjust it to its new glass plate.
