TROUBLESHOOTING

If your EZI33XLT+ is not performing properly, try the
following steps .

Cause
Check the antenna connection or move

You might be in a remote area that
could require an optional multi-band
antenna . Check with your dealer or local
electronics store .
Adjust the squelch threshold . See "To
adjust the squelch" on page 23 .
Check the antenna connection .
Make sure the channel's
frequency is stored in the scanner's
favourites bank .
Wait for a transmission on the channel .
Press (Srvc/Fav) . If
press (Hold) to resume .
Adjust the squelch threshold . See "To
adjust the squelch" on page 23 .
Check the antenna connection .
The cause is an alkaline battery or a
defective nickel metal hydride battery .
