Configuring Cre/Rpe For Gift Card - VeriFone VX 805 Manual

Configuring CRE/RPE for Gift Card (required on each PC that will process Gift Card payments)
The steps shown below are from CRE version 12.8031 and newer. You will configure the PINpad type and merchant
processing parameters in the same screen.
1. In CRE/RPE go to
Options/Manager > Setup >
Setup Screen.
2. Under Payment Processing:
Click on the Processing tab
and select Gift Card; under
the Payment Processor
dropdown, select DataCap;
3. Under the Processing
Company dropdown, select
Valutec
4. Under IP Address, Enter the
IP Address of the computer
running GIFTePay.
5. Select Verifone VX805 from
the pinpad dropdown.
6. Enter the # of the Com Port
7. Enter the Merchant Number;
enter the Terminal Number
(if provided by processor)
8. Then click Update to save
your changes.
*If a Terminal Number is not
provided by the processor,
leave that field blank.
