CRE version 12.8030 and older configuration steps
In older versions of CRE you must select the PINpad and its communication port in the Hardware section of the setup
screen before configuring the payment processing parameters.
9. In CRE/RPE go to
Options/Manager > Setup >
Setup Screen > Hardware
Under Pin Pad Port, select
Other and type in 9; for Pin
Pad Type, select
VerifoneVX805 from the
dropdown; for Pin Pad
Connection, select USB from
the dropdown.
10. Under Payment Processing:
Click on the Processing tab and
select Loyalty; under the
Payment Processor dropdown,
select DataCap;
11. Under the Processing
Company dropdown, select
Valutec
12. Under IP Address, Enter the IP
Address of the computer
running GIFTePay.
13. Enter the Merchant Number;
enter the Terminal Number (if
provided by processor)
14. Then click Update to save your
changes.
*If a Terminal Number is not
provided by the processor,
leave that field blank.
