Platform Controls

The platform control box contains one printed
circuit board. The ALC-500 circuit board inside
the platform control box controls all proportional
machine functions from the platform. The joystick
controllers at the platform controls utilize Hall
Effect technology and require no adjustment. The
operating parameters of the joysticks are stored in
memory at the ECM circuit board at the platform
controls. If a joystick error occurs or if a joystick is
replaced, it will need to be calibrated before that
particular machine function will operate. Refer to
Repair Procedure, How to Calibrate a Joystick.
Each joystick controller should operate smoothly
and provide proportional speed control over its
entire range of motion.
