The error counter detects bipolar violations or no-signal periods. It counts,
stores, and displays these occurrences to a maximum of 9999.
The PRI fault detection and isolation procedures described in this section are
performed using a portable test package, which consists of one each of the
following items:
•
the TTT2028 Mini-Error Counter, plus operation instruction card
•
a cord equipped with a bantam plug at one end and minihooks at the other
•
a loopback plug (shorts pins 3 to 1 and 11 to 9 of a 15-pin D connector)
