Defining the direction of rotation

Direction of rotation
If the built-in torque motor is connected with phase sequence U-V-W, and is fed from a
three-phase system with a clockwise phase sequence, then the rotor will rotate
counterclockwise. You can determine the direction of rotation by viewing the cable outlet
side of the built-in torque motor.
