11.7 Error Code List
Description
An error that cannot be recovered. The RUN LED turns off.
An error where the module cannot continue to operate. The ERR. LED turns on.
An error where the module can continue to operate. The ERR. LED flashes.
Error name
Description and cause
Hardware error
Module hardware error
Synchronous
An error has been detected on
communication error 1
synchronous communications
with the master station.
Synchronous
An error has been detected on
communication error 2
synchronous communications
with the master station.
External power supply
The external power supply
OFF error
voltage turns off.
Non-volatile memory
The IP address and subnet mask
data error (IP
stored in the non-volatile memory
address)
are abnormal.
IP address/station
The IP address/station number
number setting switch
setting switches are set to 255.
out of range error
MODE switch
The MODE switch is set to an
incorrect
incorrect state.
Synchronous
"Network Synchronous
communication
Communication" of the network
settings inconsistent
configuration setting is set to
"Asynchronous" for the I/O
module where the operation
mode is set to the synchronization
cycle timing control mode or the
set time synchronization control
mode in the CC-Link IE TSN
Network synchronous
communication setting.
Action
Power off and on the module power supply.
If this error occurs again, the possible cause is a module
failure. Please consult your local Mitsubishi representative.
Take any of the following actions, and then turn off and on the
power supply of the I/O module or perform remote reset.
• Check that the system configuration meets the
specifications by referring to the manual for the master
station.
• Check that no communication error has occurred on the
other stations.
• Check that no remote reset has been performed to the
other stations.
• Take measures against noise on the transmission path.
If this error occurs again, the possible cause is a module
failure. Please consult your local Mitsubishi representative.
Take any of the following actions, and then turn off and on the
power supply of the I/O module or perform remote reset.
• Set a longer time for the synchronization cycle of the
master station.
• Reduce the number of slave stations operating with the
CC-Link IE TSN Network synchronous communication
function.
• Take measures against noise on the transmission path.
• Check the state of the external power supply.
• Check if the power supply voltage satisfies the
specifications for the I/O module.
• Correct the timing of turning on or off External power
supply monitor request (RWw2.b9) if an error occurs when
starting or stopping the system.
• The module will be automatically recovered immediately
after the error occurs. However, the stored IP address and
subnet mask are lost, and operation is performed
assuming that the following are stored.
IP address: 192.168.3.250
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
• Take measures against noise with a shielded cable for
connection.
• If this error occurs again, the possible cause is a module
failure. Please consult your local Mitsubishi representative.
Turn on the power supply with the IP address/station number
setting switches set to a value in the range 0 to 254.
Set the MODE switch correctly.
Take any of the following actions, and then turn off and on the
power supply of the I/O module or perform remote reset.
• Set "Network Synchronous Communication" to
"Synchronous" when setting the synchronization cycle
timing control mode or the set time synchronization control
mode as the operation mode.
• When setting "Network Synchronous Communication" to
"Asynchronous", set the synchronous X/Y control mode as
the operation mode.
