Bleeding the Fuel Lines
1. Locate the On/OFF switch inside the APU and turn the switch "ON".
2. Crack open the fuel return line banjo fitting on the APU engine.
3. At the HMI:
a. press MAIN POWER Key "ON"
b. press APU SYSTEM Key "ON"
c. press MODE Key to "AC"
d. press FAN Key to set fan speed
e. press UP or DOWN Keys to set the thermostat to 50 F (10 C)
f. multiple start attempts will be required to start the engine.
N N o o t t e e : : The fuel pump only runs when the engine is turning over. If the engine cranks for 30 seconds and fails to start,
a start fault shutdown will be generated. This alarm code will have to be cleared before attempting another
start sequence.
4. Close the fuel return line banjo fitting when a steady flow of fuel is observed.
5. Allow engine to start.
