DICOM configuration pages

In order to archive exams, patient data and images, you must first configure the
DICOM settings.
You must also configure the Vevo MD Imaging System for DICOM transfer. Have
your Network Administrator or PACS Manager perform the configuration task. See
"Configuring the system for DICOM transfer"
Important:
Changing the configuration requires a system restart.
The DICOM configuration pages are as follows:
Location Configuration for network settings. Also specifies which devices you
l
want to associate with that network. For example, configure a location called
"Office," and then associate an archiver with it. You can configure up to eight
locations. See
Archive Configuration for PACS archivers, devices for storing patient exams
l
(images and clips). Only one archiver per location can receive image transfers
at a time. You can associate up to four archivers per location.
Storage Commit Configuration for storage commitment servers, devices that
l
take responsibility for and provide receipt of content sent by the ultrasound
system.
Worklist Configuration for worklist servers, devices that contain scheduled
l
patient procedure data. You can import the data into the patient form, see
"Patient"
on page 165.
MPPS or Modality Performed Procedure Step. Configuration for MPPS servers
l
that coordinate detailed information about the exam performed. You can
associate one MPPS server per location.
