i VAMP in/out points cannot be set in positions that would
exceed the length of the song.
i VAMP in/out points cannot be set to exceed the following
times.

Moving between VAMP points

When the recorder is stopped, paused or playing back, press the
m or , button to move (skip) from the current location to
the previous or next VAMP point.
When skipping, the VAMP point name appears in a pull-up at
the bottom of the display.

Clearing individual VAMP points

VAMP points can be cleared on the VAMP Editing Screen when
the recorder is stopped or paused.
1.
Skip to a VAMP point that you want to delete when stopped
or paused.
At a VAMP in point, press the F2

At a VAMP out point, press the F3
NOTE
Press the F2
and F3
to delete both the VAMP in and out points for the current
location.

Clearing all VAMP points

This clears all set VAMP in/out points.
1.
When the recorder is stopped, select VAMP on the MENU
Screen, and open the VAMP Screen.
2.
Select the I/O ALL CLR item on the VAMP Screen, and press
the MULTI JOG dial.
A clear confirmation screen will open.
Press the F4

button to confirm the clearing of VAMP
in/out points.
When VAMP in/out point clearing completes, the VAMP
Screen reopens.
ATTENTION
Deleted VAMP in/out points cannot be restored.

Setting the VAMP playback operation
mode
The VAMP playback function has two operation modes.
NOTE
Recording is not possible when the VAMP playback function
is in use.
VAMP automatic playback mode
While playing back using the VAMP playback function, VAMP
playback automatically starts when the playback position
reaches a VAMP in point.
Pressing the F4 button while playing back using the VAMP
playback function will not turn the function off.
1.
Load a song that has VAMP in/out points already set.
2.
When the recorder is stopped, select VAMP on the MENU
Screen, and open the VAMP Screen.
3.
Select VAMP PLAY on the VAMP Screen, and open the VAMP
Playback Screen.
Press the F3

button to switch the VAMP playback
mode to automatic.
Confirm that the icon appears on the VAMP Playback
Screen.
NOTE
i Press the F1
button to open the Meter Screen.

button to switch the repeat playback
function.
i Press the F3
button to switch the VAMP playback
operation mode.
i Press the F4
button to turn the VAMP playback
function on/off.

When the song playback position reaches the first VAMP
interval, VAMP playback will start automatically.
VAMP playback of VAMP-1 will continue until the F4
button is pressed again.
Press the F4

button to end VAMP playback of the first
VAMP interval and continue playing the song until the next
VAMP in point.
When the song playback position reaches VAMP-2, VAMP
playback will start automatically.
VAMP playback of VAMP-2 will continue until the F4
button is pressed again.
7.
Conduct the same operations for following pairs of VAMP
in/out points.
