Display and touch cables
Description
Display panel cable (includes Mylar screw/POGO cover, bottom thermal Mylar, side thermal Mylar, and
thermal grease)
Before disconnecting the display and touch cables, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the tablet.
3.
Disconnect the power from the tablet by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the tablet.

Disconnect the display and touch cables:
1.
Remove the silver Mylar from on top of the main connector on the display (1).
2.
Rotate the connector latch back (2), and then pull the cable from the connector (3).
3.
Lift the black Mylar from on top of the touch connector board on the display (4), lift the connector (5),
and then pull the cable out of the connector (6).
Reverse this procedure to install the display and touch cables.
