a. Remove the display panel assembly.
b. Release the display panel cable from the retention clips (1) built into the bottom edge of the display
back cover.
c. Disconnect the display panel cable (2) from the touch control board.
d. Detach the grounding tape (3) that secures the display panel cable to the display panel assembly.
e. Release the retention bar (4) that secures the display panel cable to the display panel assembly.
f. Disconnect the display panel cable (5) from the display panel assembly.
The display panel cable is available using spare part number M45460-001.
12. If it is necessary to replace the display hinges, follow these steps:
a. Remove the display panel assembly.
b. Release the display panel cable from the display left hinge area (1).
c. Remove the six Phillips M2.5 × 3.6 broad head screws (2) that secure the hinges to the display back
cover.
d. Remove the hinges (3).
The hinges are available using spare part number M45449-001.
