Software and Firmware Requirements
• CKM-MR51E application firmware: 1.4.2 or higher
• CKM-MR51E loader firmware: 1.1.11 or higher required to support
firmware downloads if using public DHCP or static IP addressing modes.
• Mercury controller: 1.14.7.0282 or higher
• Microsoft .NET Framework, version 4 or higher, installed on the computer
you use to connect to the MR51E
Static IP Address Configuration Procedure
Follow the steps in this section to configure the CKM-MR51E module's
static IP addressing mode.
For direct communications between the computer and the CKM-MR51E,
use a crossover cable. Use straight-through Ethernet cable if connecting
via a hub/switch.
To enable the module's programming mode:
1. At the CKM-MR51E, set the DIP switches to "0011," which is the
programming mode for static IP addressing (see
To configure the static IP address:
1. Establish a physical connection between the computer and the
CKM-MR51E.
2. From the computer, launch the MR51eAddressTool.exe file. This file
is available from the following site:
