IP Ping
The IP Ping command sends ICMP echo request packets to another node in the
network.
Syntax
[IP] Ping [-n <count>] [-w <timeout>] <ipaddress>
Parameters
• count – the number of echo requests to send
• timeout – timeout in seconds to wait for each reply
• ipaddress – IP address to ping
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
User Guidelines
The maximum timeout is 60 seconds.

IP>ping -n 2 -w 10 192.168.1.1
Reply from 192.168.1.1, packet
Reply from 192.168.1.1, packet

IP Dhcp
The IP dhcp command enables or disables the switch from obtaining an IP address from
a dhcp server on the network
