3.8 1-Port Channelized OC3c/STM1c POS-SFP Flexible
Interface Card (FIC)
Overview
The 1-port channelized STM-1 flexible card transmits 63-channel E1 signals through 1-channel
155M SDH line, implements the Circuit Emulation Service (CES), Inverse Multiplexing for
ATM (IMA), and MultiLink Point-to-Point Protocol (ML-PPP), and supports synchronous
Ethernet and hot swapping. The second channelized STM-1 interface on the right of front panel
is reserved and cannot be used to carry services.
The 1-Port Channelized OC3c/STM1c POS-SFP Flexible Interface Card (FIC)consists of the
service access module, auxiliary interface module, control drive module, clock module, and
power module.
