1.2 Power Supply System
1.2.1 Architecture of the Power Supply System
The device supports DC power input of -48 V DC or -60 V DC.
The device is powered by two PSUs, which work in 1+1 backup mode. When one PSU fails or
is removed, the other one can still supply adequate power for the device. The PSUs are installed
in the two top slots of the chassis and supply power for the MPUs, NPU, PICs, and fan module.
The following measures are taken to ensure that the PSUs can supply stable and safe power for
the system:

1.2.2 Diagram of the Power Supply Architecture
The two PSUs work in 1+1 backup mode.
-12 V power supplies are combined on the backplane, and then are directed to the MPU and
NPU. Two -48 V power supplies are input to the PICs, and then are combined on the PICs. Two
-48 V power supplies are combined on the backplane, and then are directed to the fan module.
