11. When the ink tank is full, remove the ink bottle and securely close the ink tank cap.
Note: If any ink remains in the bottle, replace the bottle cap and tighten it. Store the bottle upright for
later use.
12. Press the
start and follow the on-screen instructions to reset the ink level.
Caution: If you reset the ink level without refilling the ink tank to the upper line, you may print without
enough ink in the tank and damage your printer. Before you print, make sure you visually check the
ink level of the tank. To keep your printer operating at its best fill ink tank up to the upper line and
reset the ink level immediately.
13. Do one of the following:
• If you did not fill the ink to the upper line, press the
ink level. Use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust the ink level on the screen to match your
ink tank. Press the OK button when finished. The ink tank will move to the printing position. Press
the OK button again to exit the menu.
• If you did fill the ink to the upper line, press the OK button. The ink tank will move to the printing
position. Press the OK button again to exit the menu.
