3.6. Bookmark

Adding a bookmark (timestamp) to an active log is really easy in Suunto EON Core. See 4.9.
How to add bookmarks for the procedure.

3.7. Clock

Suunto EON Core's time and date settings are found under Device settings.
Time and date formats are found under Units & formats. For setting, see 4.4. How to set time
and date.

3.8. Compass

Suunto EON Core includes a tilt-compensated digital compass, available as a main view.

3.8.1. Calibrating compass

When you first start using Suunto EON Core, and after each charging, the compass needs to
be calibrated and it is required to do so to activate it. Suunto EON Core displays the
calibration icon when you enter the compass view.
During the calibration process, the compass adjusts itself to the surrounding magnetic field.
Because of changes in the surrounding magnetic field, it is recommended to re-calibrate the
compass before each dive.
To manually start calibration:

Explanation
Estimated remaining dive time is 16 hours; no immediate need to recharge
Estimated remaining dive time is three (3) hours or less; recharge needed
Estimated remaining dive time is less than one (1) hour; recharge
immediately.
When the charge level drops below 2 (two) hours, you cannot start a dive
with Suunto EON Core.
Battery is charging, showing current charge level as remaining dive time
