When the charge level drops below 2 (two) hours, you cannot start
a dive with Suunto EON Steel . A pop-up message indicates
recharge is needed.

3.6 Bookmark

Keep the lower button pressed to add a bookmark (timestamp and
heading) to the active log for later reference.
Explanation
Estimated remaining dive time is 27 hours; no
immediate need to recharge
Estimated remaining dive time is three (3) hours or
less; recharge needed
Estimated remaining dive time is less than one (1)
hour; recharge immediately
Battery is charging, showing current charge level as
remaining dive time
