Setting up the control panel for automatic Remote Servicing

Note: This option is only available in Galaxy 3-144 and 2-520 control panels

Panel Identification String

A panel identification string is sent from the panel to the application. In order to send this option 47.4.8 Send
Panel ID must be enabled

System ID (51.15.1)

The System ID is used to select the site that is calling from the database. In order to use this the System ID
must be entered at the panel and in the corresponding site's System Parameters screen.

Int Telecoms Connection

If using telecoms (modem) to connect, Call back-1 must be entered in 56.1.12.2.

Ethernet Connection

If using Ethernet to connect, Call IP 1 must be entered in 56.4.3.2.2.
NOTE: If both the Int Telecoms and Ethernet options are programmed up, the Int Telecoms takes
precedence.
To disable the option delete the corresponding call back number/IP address.
The following checks are carried out on the System ID:
Account Number Check
No System ID given
System ID does not match any in the database
System ID matches multiple sites in the database
System ID matches one site

Failure Logging

Failure
No ID returned by the panel
No System ID
System ID does not match any in the database
System ID matches multiple sites in the database
Action
disconnect from the site
disconnect from the site

site is selected and continue with copy
