Phonebook

Phonebook
You can store up to 3,000 phonebook entries
and assign a name (16 characters max.) and
up to 3 phone numbers to each (24 digits max.
each). You can also assign a label to each
phone number, and assign each phonebook
entry to a category (page 26). The following
categories are available:
– Category 1: "Home"
– Category 2: "Mobile 1"
– Category 3: "Mobile 2"
– Category 4-9: You can change the category
name for each category.

For categories 1-3, the category names
cannot be changed.
The total number of entries that can be stored
varies depending on how many phone
numbers you have stored for each entry. Total
number of entries is shown below:
1 name + 1 phone number: 3,000 entries
1 name + 2 phone numbers: 1,500 entries
1 name + 3 phone numbers: 1,000 entries
Important:
R All entries can be shared by any registered
handset.
R You can copy phonebook entries from a
Bluetooth mobile phone to the unit's
phonebook (page 48).

Categories
Categories can help you find entries in the
phonebook quickly and easily. You can
change the category name for categories 4-9
("Friends", "Family", etc.). By assigning
different ringer tones for different categories of
callers, you can identify who is calling
(category ringer tone), if you have subscribed
to Caller ID service.
