B. RECORDING FROM THE RADIO
 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "RADIO" position.
 Slide AM/FM switch to select band.
 Tune to the desired station and insert a blank cassette tape in deck A.
 Press down on the RECORD
recording.
 Press the PAUSE
C. RECORDING FROM A CD
 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "CD" position.
 Insert a blank cassette tape in deck A which is suitable for recording.
 Press the PAUSE
until they lock. The recording function is now in STANDBY.
 Press PLAY on the CD player, and then press the PAUSE
recording.
 To stop recording, press the STOP
button and then the STOP/EJECT
D. RECORDING FROM AUX IN
 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AUX" position.
 Connect Line out or headphone out of your external audio device to AUX IN jack via a
3.5mm plug audio cable (not included).
 Insert a blank cassette tape into the deck A.
 Press the PAUSE
buttons at the same time until they lock.
 Press the play button of your external audio device to start playback and then press the PAUSE
button on deck A to start recording.
 Press the PAUSE
E. RECORDING FROM AN EXTERNAL MICROPHONE (NOT INCLUDED)
 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to the "AUX" position.
 Connect your external dynamic microphone to the 3.5mm MIC Jack.
 Insert a blank cassette tape into deck A.
 Press the PAUSE
until they lock. The recording function is now in STANDBY.
 Press the " PAUSE
 Slowly adjust the MIC VOLUME to control microphone input sensitivity if necessary.
 Press the PAUSE
NOTES:
1. When recording from Tape, Radio or CD, the volume control does not affect the recording
level due to ALC circuit inside unit.
2. When recording from AUX IN, you may need to adjust volume level of your external audio
player for the best result.
3. When recording from external microphone, to obtain the best result and reduce saturation
risks, speak at a distance of approximate 2 - 3 inches from microphone. Adjust MIC
VOLUME to control microphone input level if necessary.
4. When recording from AM radio, you may receive interference.
Press the "DBBS" button on main unit if you want to add more bass and enhance the music being
played. Press the button again to turn off the extra bass.
