8. EACH SETTING AND ADJUSTMENT

8.1 NECESSARY ITEMS TO BE NOTED

Before repairing, be sure to check the version of the firmware, and if it is not the latest one, update to the latest version.
Perform the each item when the following parts are replaced.
• MAIN Assy (Flash ROM)

8.2 UPDATING OF THE FIRMWARE
Function
Update the firmware of this unit, using a USB memory device.
Updater file:
C
File format : Binary file
Filename : djmXXXX.bin (XXXX stands for a 4-digit version No.)
Updating procedures
1 Store an updater file at the top level (not in a directory) in the USB memory drive.
If several updater files exist, use the file whose filename represents the latest version.
2 Plug the USB memory device in which the updater file is stored into the USB connector of the DJM-350.
Press the STANDBY/ON button while holding the CH1 FADER START and CH2 FADER START buttons pressed
to start in Update mode.

3 The CH2 level-meter segments show the progress of updating. When updating is finished, all the segments are lit.
4 Enter Standby mode by holding the STANDBY/ON button pressed for several seconds.
The updated firmware will be valid from the next startup. (The updated firmware will also be valid after the unit is turned
off by unplugging the AC power cord then back to on by plugging it in for the next startup.)
Indications during Update mode
The progress of updating can be confirmed with the level meters.
CH1 level meter: Indicating errors
CH2 level meter: Indicating progresses and modes

Mode-indicating segment (CH2 level meter)
This segment flashes at intervals of 500 ms after the unit starts up in Update mode.
It is lit after updating is finished either successfully or unsuccessfully (with an error).
