8. EACH SETTING AND ADJUSTMENT

8.1 NECESSARY ITEMS TO BE NOTED

It is recommended that you back up the data of the user effect parameters that are stored in this unit before starting repair.
For details on how to back up, see "8.3 HOW TO IMPORT/EXPORT USER SETTING DATA."
After repairing, be sure to check the version of the firmware (see "Mode 1: For confirmation of the version" in "TEST MODE"),
and if it is not the latest one, update to the latest version.
When the following parts are replaced, confirmation of the version of the firmware, updating to the latest version of the
firmware.
• MAIN Assy
(FLASH: IC2501)
• PNCE Assy
(K0R UCOM: IC7002)
If the mechanical members of the RELEASE FX lever are disassembled then reassembled, with or without part replacement,
be sure to perform calibration of the RELEASE FX lever.
Specific mechanical elements for which recalibration is required after their disassembly
Replacement of mechanical members, repair of the SPFX Assy, etc.
(Other than replacement of parts, in a case where any of the screws specified in the figure below is removed)
Judgment of the result (OK/NG) of calibration and measures to be taken when the calibration check is NG
Whether calibration is OK or not can be judged from lighting of the RELEASE FX indicator LEDs:
No LED lit:
Perpendicular position (state where the lever is not touched)
One LED lit:
When the lever is tilted by 15°
(Check that one LED lights when the lever is tilted halfway to a position where its load changes.)
Three LEDs lit: When the lever is tilted by 30°
(When the lever is fully tilted)
In a case where the result of the above-mentioned calibration check is NG
1 Recalibration
2 Replacement of mechanical members, → If the LEDs do not light properly, go to 3.

• Confirmation of the version of the firmware
• Updating to the latest version of the firmware
• Calibration of the RELEASE FX lever
Note:
Recalibration is not required when only the upper left
screw is removed.
The upper left screw must be removed when the
insulating sheet (DEC3398) is to be removed.
Therefore, this screw may require frequent removal,
as the insulating sheet must be removed each time
the panel board is to be diagnosed.
→ If the LEDs light properly, calibration is OK.
→ If the LEDs do not light properly, go to 2.
→ If the LEDs light properly, calibration is OK.
→ If the LEDs do not light properly, go to 2.
