Selecting a Profile

When you change activities,you
can change the setup of the device
by changing the profile.
1 Select Profile Change.

Area Measurement

Area Measurement functions
can be quickly accessed from the
GPSMAP 64s SEA main menu
with the following three types of
calculation:Area Calculation,
PI o wland Area,Route Calculation.

Select a profile.

Area Calculation

Push Start on the screen when
GPS is locked and slowly walk
along the edge of the area
calculate while holding the device.
The covered area will be shown on
the screen (with the start and end
points connected with a straight
line).Push Calculate to show the
current area and length results.
Then push Pause or Finish.
Pause:Pause the area calculation.
Push Continue to resume area
calculation.
Finish: Complete the area
calculation and save the
results.
Select Start.Then walk
around the perimeter
of the area you want
to calculate.
When finished,select
Finish to save
