Replacing a fuse in the Adapter Module 600
Preparatory steps
● Disconnect the drive line-up from the power supply
● Allow unimpeded access to the Adapter Module 600 (AM600).
● Check that the device is in a no-voltage condition
The fuses to protect the conductors of the Hybrid Cable are integrated in the Adapter Module
600.
Danger to life due to electric shock when replacing a fuse
Because of the DC link capacitors, a hazardous voltage is present for up to five minutes
after the power supply has been switched off.
Contact with live parts can result in death or serious injury.
• Switch the power supply off before replacing the fuse.
• Wait at least 5 minutes after switching off.
