Symptom
No / low / unclear sound from
boom microphone.
Headset does not charge.
Headset freeze when you try
to install a software update.
Earmuffs does not respond
after connection with CST.
893 - 001 -
Possible causes
The boom microphone is defective.
The cables are not connected cor-
rectly.
The phone jack is defective.
The circuit board is defective.
The charger cable is defective.
The cables are not connected cor-
rectly.
The DC connector is defective.
The battery is defective.
The circuit board is defective.
Low battery level (< 25%) and/or the
charger cable is not connected before
flashing.
The headset is in update mode after
the cable has been disconnected.
Recommended step
Replace the boom microphone.
Use the wiring diagram to make sure that the
cables connected correctly. Replace defec-
tive cables.
Replace the phone jack.
Replace the product.
Replace the charger cable.
Use the wiring diagram to make sure that the
cables connected correctly. Replace defec-
tive cables.
Replace the DC connector.
Replace the battery.
Replace the product.
Remove the battery to reset the product. As-
semble the battery. Install the software up-
date.
Connect the power cable to the earmuffs.
Connect the computer cable to the earmuffs
and the computer. Close the CST software
with the earmuffs still connected to the com-
puter (you will hear a beep from the ear-
muffs).
