7. Use the thick end of a ¼ in. extension to carefully
tap down the seal. Move the extension around the
seal until the seal is level with the top edge of the
shaft housing.
CAUTION: Tap only on the steel casing of
the seal.
8. Remove the insulating tape from the shaft.
9. Assemble the wheel. Refer to
the wheels on page 22 .
10. Fill the transmission oil tank until the oil is at the
maximum level. The product must be level and the
oil must have a temperature of approximately 20 °C.
11. Bleed the hydraulic system. Refer to
drive system on page 37 .
12. Start the product and do a check for an oil leak from
the new shaft seals.
13. Do a check of the oil level and if it is necessary, fill
the transmission oil tank after the test run.

9.5.11 Hydrostatic transmission cable
9.5.11.1 To remove the hydrostatic transmission cable
1. Remove the frame tunnel cover. Refer to
the covers on page 20 .
2. Loosen the cable locknut for the front hydrostatic
transmission ¼ turn.
3. Loosen the locking spring (A) and remove the
locking spring (B).
4. Remove the cable clamp for the front hydrostatic
transmission. The cable clamp is attached below the
frame tunnel cover.
5. Remove the transmission cover. Refer to
the covers on page 20 .
6. Remove the locking spring and the ball joint on the
rear hydrostatic transmission cable from the arm.
Remove the rear clamp.
7. Lift the front ball joint and pull out the cable.
8. Lift out the hydrostatic transmission cable and the
ball joint.
