4.6.5. Verify that the LCD displays the message
4.6.6. Press each button on the LRC.
4.6.7. For every button pressed, verify that the LCD displays a corresponding number
next to the line reading "Footswitch1:". For example, pressing the PLAY button on the
LRC will cause the LCD to display "Footswitch1: 06"
4.6.8. If any of the buttons pressed does not cause the LCD to display a corresponding
number, then the BRC has failed its LRC test.
4.6.9. Record the results on the data sheet.
4.6.10. Remove the LRC from the LOCATE/PLAY connector on the back of the BRC.
4.6.11. Verify that the LCD displays the message
4.6.12. Plug the LRC into the PUNCH IN/OUT connector on the back of the BRC.
4.6.13. Verify that the LCD displays the message
4.6.14. Press each button on the LRC.
4.6.15. For every button pressed, verify that the LCD displays a corresponding number
next to the line reading "Footswitch2:". For example, pressing the PLAY button on the
LRC will cause the LCD to display "Footswitch1: 06"
4.6.16. If any of the buttons pressed does not cause the LCD to display a corresponding
number, then the BRC has failed its LRC test.
4.6.17. Press PITCH

4.6.18. Record the results of this test on the data sheet.
4.7. MIDI Interface Test
4.7.1. Press KEYPAD NUMBER 6.
4.7.2. Verify that the LCD displays the message
4.7.3. If this message is not displayed, repeat step 4.7.1 until the appropriate message is
displayed.
4.7.4. Press AUTOPLAY.
4.7.5. Verify that the MIDI IN LED flashes momentarily.
4.7.6. Verify that the LCD displays the message "Test Passed" momentarily.
4.7.7. If the LCD displays the message "Test Failed", then the BRC has failed its MIDI
interface test.
4.7.8. Record the results of this test on the data sheet.
