Voice Mail Overflow
Description
Insures that IntraMail will pick up calls that don't go through.
The UX5000 can automatically reroute unanswered outside calls to the IntraMail Automated Attendant.
Voice Mail Overflow ensures that IntraMail will pick up calls that don't go through. This allows callers to
leave a message rather than having to call back later. Voice Mail can be the overflow destination for the fol-
lowing types of unanswered calls:

Department Group Overflow
A line transferred by an extension or the Automated Attendant (UTRF or STRF) to a group can overflow
to the group's mailbox. See

Direct Inward Line (DIL) Overflow
A trunk that directly rings an extension or can overflow to that extension's mailbox if not answered.
●
Incoming Ring Groups
A trunk ringing an extension's line keys can overflow to the IntraMail Automated Attendant.
Department Group Direct Inward Line (DIL) Overflow

A Direct Inward Line (DIL) to the group master number can overflow to the group's mailbox. See

Programming
Programming DIL Overflow
1.
Set up Direct Inward Lines.

Assign Service Type 4 to each trunk you want to be a DIL.

22-07-01: DIL A
For each trunk designated as a DIL above, enter the extension number of the DIL destination
(e.g., 306).

Assign IntraMail as the overflow (no answer) destination.
22-08-01: DIL/IRG N
For each trunk assigned as a DIL above, enter 102 to make IntraMail the overflow (no answer)
destination.
