Voice Mail Language Setup
The DSPDB provides a voice mail system for the XN120.
There are two language settings required for the DSPDB voice mail system: system and mail box.
The system language is set by Program 40-07-01 (this program also sets the system's VRS language). This is
used for any prompts played to a user that is not logged into a mail box e.g. when a user dials 884 and hears
the main menu greeting.
The mail box language is set per mail box by Program 40-08-01. This is used for the prompts played when a
user is logged into the mail box e.g. when a user presses their Mail Box function key.

Voice Mail System Language Setup

This sets the language used for the voice mail system prompts (it also sets the system's VRS language).

0 = Japanese
1 = English
2 = German
3 = Norwegian
4 = Dutch
5 = French
6 = Italian
7 = Spanish
8 = Chinese
9 = Flexible (Portuguese,
Swedish, Greek, Flemish)

This sets the language used for each voice mail box.

Ø Enter the voice mail system language; you can overwrite the
current entry.
Ø To remove an entry press CLEAR.
Ø Press HOLD to confirm the entry.
Ø Press DC several times when you are done to return to the
Program Mode.
Ø (Press SPK to save changes and exit if you are finished).
Default = 1 (English)

Ø Enter the voice mail box language; you can overwrite the
current entry.
Ø To remove an entry press CLEAR.

box.
