a. If an 8340A is used, the 1.0 V/GHz output will have to be modified to a 0.5
V/GHz output for proper display accuracy, leveling flatness, and harmonic sup-
pression. Provided with your mm-wave source module is a set of modification
instructions. This modification procedure will enable you to properly convert
your 8340A to a 0.5 V/GHz output.
