WHEN ? Check that the paper supply is adequate. Nevertheless,

«PAPER OUT», then goes to LOCKING mode (indicator light and
audio alarm come on), the printing device positions itself to the
extreme left.
At the end of the week ensure that your teleprinter is re-supplied
with sufficient paper.
HOW ? Stop the audio alarm by depressing the RESET ALARM
key. Raise the cover lid and follow instructions as shown on the
photos :
1 move the control lever for the paper press towards you,
completely unwind the remaining paper and remove the used
roll ; then, extract the shaft from the latter and place it on the
new roll ;
2 install the assembly on its brackets, the paper should unwind
down and towards you.
